We are immersed in a Digital Age, fuelled by the constant advancement of Information and Communication Technology (ICT). These advances are changing the way we go about our daily tasks, the ones that affect our well-being. I am referring, for example, to activities such as working, studying, socialising, exercising, eating or resting.
Nowadays, there are a variety of digital tools that help us perform these tasks.
Digital devices are computers connected to us and the environment through sensors and actuators. They can store large amounts of data, perform complex tasks simultaneously and exchange information at high speed.
Software applications, hand-coded by specialists, are responsible for managing the devices. Sophisticated programming languages for software development allow us to write code optimised for the devices it runs on and to use Artificial Intelligence (AI) algorithms.
We engage with applications through User Interfaces. Moreover, graphical environments provide an immersive user experience. Thanks to AI, this experience can be personalised (by learning behaviours), accessible (by having conversations) and empathic (by recognising emotions and moods).

I am a Computer Engineer from the ICAI School of Engineering of Madrid (Spain) and a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from the University of Barcelona and the Artificial Intelligence Research Institute (IIIA-CSIC) of Barcelona (Catalonia, Spain). I am a Digital Consultant based in Huesca (Aragon, Spain) and an expert in Artificial Intelligence, Intelligent User Interfaces, Software Solutions, and Agile Methodologies. I have applied my knowledge in Large, Medium and Small Enterprises, programming artificial intelligence for data processing, managing software projects and supporting digital transformation.
